On the rare occasion that I can nip over to Borough Market in the morning, I'll hold off on breakfast and go and sit in a cafe and take a coffee and pastry and watch the world go by. The buzz is great, the smells are more than aromatic, and the people watching is always fun. The atmosphere and the offerings in the market are amazing, and I always try and come away with something I've never tried before!
I was happy to see my 'Kate' & 'William' bunting in You Magazine (Daily Mail) last Sunday, as part of a last minute ideas for Royal Wedding parties article. And with it being featured only a few days before the event I was kept quite busy in the run up!
We have just enjoyed a long and enjoyable weekend in Paris with friends from New York. Much walking, talking and eating ensued but perhaps the most pampering part of the trip was when the girls got to head off to the Turkish baths at the Mosque. The lovely and tranquil Hammam is perfect for an afternoon of relaxation with it's steam baths and massage, followed by delicious mint tea and honey cake in the courtyard or Moroccan styled tearooms.
Just managed to get in a skate before the close of Skate at Somerset House, which will ofcourse return again in the Autumn. Beautifully positioned among the neo-classical buildings, the rink was really exhilerating to glide around. And when it's time to finish there is a warm cosy bar aside the rink serving hot chocolate, gluhwein, tea & cakes, etc.
It's great to have the new 'LOVE' cushion featured in Easy Living's February issue.
